Think Courageously Fall Retreat

Announcing the 3rd Annual Think Courageously Fall Retreat at the historic Glasbern Inn.

Experience the Think Courageously Retreat, a transformative journey crafted exclusively for women seeking profound connections and personal growth. Gain valuable insights and unlock your true potential as you embark on a path to becoming the best version of yourself.

This transformative experience offers a nurturing environment for women to forge genuine connections, as they navigate life's transitions, redefine their own success, and indulge in a day fit for royalty.

It’s time for you to carve out a day to be radically selfish.

Yes, I just said that!

In the words of Ferris Bueller, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” It’s hard to grab moments of daily self-care. As a result, we feel like a mouse in a maze, repeating the same old patterns. The only way to break this cycle is to disrupt your pattern. That’s why I’m asking you to commit to a full day of transformation and empowerment.

It’s a delicious way to change the narrative around a high impact life.

The theme for this year's event is "Let's Go...Getting Out Of Overwhelm." Many of the women I collaborate with express feelings of being trapped in a whirlwind of responsibilities in both their personal and professional lives. The focus of this retreat will delve into the root causes of overwhelm and help you adopt an anti-overwhelm mindset. Additionally, I will equip you with the necessary tools to reframe your approach and embrace a lifestyle free from overwhelm.

“The Glasbern Inn is a perfect setting for this event. I’ve actually written about the power of sacred spaces in my chapter, ‘Living and Grieving with Courage’ in the anthology, ‘Elevate Your Voice’. I know how important sacred spaces can be on the path to healing and self-discovery. The Glasbern Inn is enchanting and serves as the perfect backdrop for this program.”

Let’s GOOO…Getting Out Of Overwhelm

If there's one thing that I hear everyday from my clients is that they are living in a constant state of overwhelm.

I’ld love for you to take a moment and check off which of the following words resonate with you:

___ **Stress**: It's that heightened sense of pressure and tension as you navigate through your responsibilities and challenges.

___ **Anxiety**: It's those feelings of unease, worry, and apprehension about what lies ahead or the tasks you have at hand.

___**Frustration**: It's that feeling when your efforts don't yield the desired results or when you face seemingly insurmountable obstacles.

___**Confusion**: It's like having a mental fog, struggling to think clearly or make decisions.

___ **Fatigue**: It's feeling mentally and physically exhausted, like you've hit a wall.

___ **Helplessness**: It's that sense of feeling helpless, as if you have little control over your circumstances.

___ **Isolation**: It's that urge to withdraw from others as you try to cope with your emotions.

___ **Guilt**: It's that feeling of guilt for not meeting your own or others' expectations, or for neglecting certain responsibilities.

___ **Impatience**: It's that human desire to quickly resolve the situation and regain a sense of normalcy.

___ **Insecurity**: It's those feelings of self-doubt and insecurity that may arise, questioning whether you can handle the challenges you face.

For me personally, when I am in a place of overwhelm, I feel off-balance. It’s like standing on one of those big blue busa balls and not falling off.

Or here’s another analogy…overwhelm is akin to being a catcher (Go Phillies) in a baseball game—balls constantly coming your way, some caught, some dropped, and some even hitting you in the head!

Let's face it, being overwhelmed not only leads to exhaustion but also leaves us with little energy for the things that truly matter. We find ourselves doubting our abilities, judging ourselves harshly for not catching every ball that comes our way.

This overwhelming feeling initiates a downward spiral, draining our energy. When overwhelmed, we tend to react in two ways. Firstly, we may withdraw, seeking solace by hiding under a metaphorical blanket all day long. Secondly, we may project our frustrations onto others, blaming them for piling more on our plate.

If you checked more than 2 or 3 of the feelings above, you would be overwhelm.

What if I provided you with the opportunity, in a safe space with other like-minded women to “LET GOOO”. Get Out Of Overwhelm at our 2023 Fall Retreat at the Glasbern Inn.

"It was the first retreat for me and a great, helpful and wonderful day, I learned so much about me and from these powerful women. I became a clear view about my values and me. It was a feeling of a new thinking."

“Deb's fall retreat is the perfect opportunity to connect deeply with like-minded women. The motto is to reflect and learn together; and to challenge old belief systems that hold us back from stepping into our full potential! When women support each other genuinely and compassionately, pure magic and confidence flows!"

What Are People Saying About the Think Courageously Fall Retreat?

“Deb's retreat is a safe place to build deep and meaningful connections with like-minded women. A day that reminds you how it feel like to be 100% yourself. Time well spent to remind yourself of your dreams and desires. And that the journey of personal growth and development is worth it over and over again. “

“At the retreat I learned to let go of my fear of being me. A large part of letting go of fear was realizing my values, which Deb helped me do. My values were inside of me all along… they were just buried. Once I had that realization, I was able to see more clearly. Prior to the retreat I had too much clutter in my life, after the retreat I made a conscious effort to let go of those things that crowded my brain, which had no value to me. In a way, the retreat was a detox for me.”

"Last year’s retreat was a great way to kick off my own journey of self-reflection. I loved spending the day with this wonderful group of women engaged in collective thought and learning under Deb’s guidance. She is thoughtful, insightful, supportive, smart, funny, creative. Heck, I’ll say it – amazing!"

"Last year's retreat with Deb was a wonderful experience. It was a day filled with connection, reflection, and a launch pad for personal and professional ambitions. I can't wait to see what Deb has planned for us because I know it will be meaningful!"
